For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to people who want to make a real difference in the world. Not just dreamers — but doers. The facilitators, trainers, coaches, and community leaders who step into their work because they genuinely want to help someone’s life shift for the better.

My career has taken me through all types of businesses — from grassroots community organisations to national programs stretching across multiple states. But every step along the way taught me the same thing: meaningful work thrives when people feel supported, confident, and capable… yet so many were never shown how to build the solid business foundations they needed.

I stepped into leadership early and found myself guiding teams, building new programs, supporting growth, and navigating the complexities of operations across different industries. Eventually, I became the General Manager, responsible for programs, partnerships, and operations across NSW, QLD, VIC, and the ACT.

In that role, I worked with an incredible mix of people — presenters, facilitators, school leaders, corporate partners, parents, and young people. I oversaw injury prevention programs, community education initiatives, and teams that were genuinely passionate about helping others stay safe and thrive. I saw the power of structure. I saw the importance of clarity. And I saw how much people grew when someone simply walked alongside them.

At the same time, I was deeply involved with Horses Helping Humans, a program that changed the way I saw emotional learning and communication. As General Manager, I supported facilitators across Australia and New Zealand, ensured program quality, and helped expand the model so more young people could benefit from it. Working so closely with them, I noticed something important:

• They weren’t struggling with the work.

• They were struggling with the business.

​

Brilliant practitioners — people who could transform a young person’s confidence in one session — were left unsure about pricing, marketing, setup, or even how to describe what they did. And I realised this challenge wasn’t unique to HHH. It was happening everywhere I looked.

 

That was the moment everything aligned.

​

My leadership background, my operational experience across all kinds of businesses, my work with facilitators, and my passion for helping people succeed all pointed in one direction.

 

Start Strong Business Coaching was born.

I created it because I’ve walked beside enough talented people to know that passion alone isn’t enough. You need structure. Support. Practical steps. Someone to talk through the overwhelm with. Someone who doesn’t just give you advice, but helps you build the foundation under your feet.

Today, my work is simple:

 

• I help people turn their training into a sustainable business — one they feel confident running and proud to share.

• I don’t expect you to already know everything.

• I don’t expect you to have it all figured out.

• I expect you to care about your work, and to be ready to take your next step.
